"Sequoia's Reflection"
A PMU rescue horse who has been given a second chance.
Shot during the Winter Solstice 2007. Sometimes a puddle of muck can be a thing of beauty,,,,if given a chance to shine.
There are always images that I go back to after months have passed. This is one of them. I have an entire series of this horse in a reflection of mucky water that has haunted me in my mind. Finally, after a bit of inspiration, I pulled it back up thus creating the piece you see above.
